We already have an exciting preliminary scientific programme in place with Mark Uden of GlaxoSmithKline and Nicole Borth of BOKU, Vienna as keynote speakers. The meeting will consist of oral presentations, poster sessions and a trade exhibition.
There will be a “Career Opportunities Forum” that ESACT-UK would like to introduce at the meeting, which is an opportunity for emerging scientists to network with those more experienced in the field – a great help when starting out on your career! Please register your interest in this session on the registration form.
Networking opportunities will be available around the poster and trade exhibition area.
If you would like to submit a presentation or poster, please send abstracts to Chris Sellick. A limited number of bursaries are available for early career researchers (within 5-7 years of completing a BSc) who will be selected after review of abstracts. A full bursary will be given for a presentation and a half bursary for posters. Deadline for abstracts is 31st October 2013. The early stage researcher must be a member of ESACT-UK. Please register as normal and if you are successful at gaining a bursary, you will be reimbursed. Please note: Abstract submissions are now over.
